Support
A question, a bug, or a forecast that felt wrong — write to barometra.team@gmail.com and a real person will read it. Telling us your app version, iPhone model and iOS version makes an answer much faster; the "Contact support" row in the app fills those in for you.
Common questions
My notifications stopped arriving
Barometra stays silent on calm days by design, so quiet stretches are normal. If nothing has arrived for a while, check iOS Settings → Notifications → Barometra and make sure they are allowed. Also check your quiet hours in the app under Settings → Notifications: an alert that would land inside that window waits until the window closes.
I paid, but the app still looks locked
Open Settings and tap Restore purchases. The purchase is tied to the Apple ID that made it, so use the same one. If it still does not unlock, write to us with the date of purchase and we will sort it out.
Can I change my city?
Yes — Settings → Your city → Change city. Barometra never uses your device location; it only knows the city you pick.
Where does the load score come from?
It combines the conditions the app watches — pressure changes above all, plus temperature swings, heat and humidity, cold and damp, dry air, wind and storms, with air quality, pollen, UV and geomagnetic activity as options you control. Tap the score on the Today screen to see every factor, its weight, and what it contributed. Weights shift over time toward whatever your own log actually shows.
Why does it say "still learning"?
Comparing your days against the sky needs enough logged days to be honest — roughly twenty, with a handful where you felt something. Until then the app says so rather than inventing a pattern. There is no streak to keep: skipping a calm day costs nothing.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Everything you logged lives only on your phone, so removing Barometra removes all of it — we hold no copy to erase. If you have iPhone backups switched on, your own backup may still contain it until it is replaced.
Can I get my journal out for a doctor?
Yes. Journal → Take this to your doctor builds a summary report you can share or print.
